# Flaky Tests: Fork PR Uploads for Test Collections

> Test collections can now accept test result uploads from forked pull requests, with no API token in the fork workflow.

**Test collections can now accept uploads from forked pull requests.**

CI on a fork pull request can't read your repository secrets, so it has no Trunk API token. You can now opt a [test collection](/flaky-tests/test-collections) into accepting those uploads, so outside contributors get flake detection and [quarantining](/flaky-tests/quarantining) too.

* **Turn it on per collection.** Open the collection, go to **Settings** → **Uploads**, and turn on **Accept uploads from forked pull requests**. Only organization admins can change this setting.
* **No new identifier.** The fork workflow addresses the collection by its existing collection ID, which is safe to commit. The ID grants nothing unless the setting is on.
* **Upload without a token.** Set `allow-forked-pr-uploads: true` alongside `test-collection-id` on `trunk-io/analytics-uploader@v2`. If you call the CLI directly, pass `--allow-forked-pr-uploads` with `--test-collection-id`.
* **Contributors' CI stays green.** A refused fork upload logs a warning and exits successfully.
* **Easy to revoke.** Turning the setting off takes effect within about a minute.

Requires analytics-cli 0.15.5 or later and `analytics-uploader` v2.1.4 or later. The `@v2` tag already includes it.

Repositories that don't use test collections can keep using the existing public repo identifier. See [Uploads from forked pull requests](/flaky-tests/get-started/fork-pr-uploads) for both setups.
